Description: Though the name suggests a half-humanoid half-poultry hybrid, this is not the case. In El Reno, Oklahoma, in December of 1970, something was raiding chicken coops and making away with hens. After large foot and handprints were found at the scene, the legend of the Chicken Man roused.

Nobody’s ever seen the “volcano” although a laundry list’s worth have tried. The area around is totally covered by water. Getting to where people saw the smoke is very difficult even if you’ve got experience traveling in the Everglades. It’s too thick for airboats and going on foot means no dry land and lots of alligators. Breathing in the smoke supposedly makes you see things, no firsthand accounts to report but rumor has it the visions are all-consuming. Don’t breathe it, in other words. You’ll probably die.”
